Pour tous, les dates essentielles du projet :


- 18 décembre 2015 : inauguration officielle et présentation sur site du projet aux élus et à la presse.
- Janvier-Février 2016 : travaux de terrassements sur le site pour créer le réseau de tranchées.
- Février - mars 2016 : Reconstruction du Mark 1
- Avril 2016 : plantation de 419.654 graines de coquelicots correspondant aux pertes de l’armée britannique.
- 03 juin 2016 : arrivée du char à Malesherbes, mise en place de la scénographie.
- 05 juin 2016 : Journée centrale du projet avec les photos.
- Tout le mois de juin : ouverture du site au public.
- 30 juin : installation du char à Thiepval.
- 1er juillet : présentation du char à sa Majesté Elisabeth II, reine du Royaume-Uni.
- 1er juillet : présentation des clichés aux membres de la délégation du Commonwealth et exposition sur l’ensemble des lieux de commémoration dans la Somme pour une durée de 141 jours (Thiepval, Péronne, Albert, Longueval, Villers-Bretonneux, Pozières, Beaumont-Hamel)
- 1er juillet : exposition des 3 coquelicots géants en zinc réalisés par Pascal Nottin (Thiepval, Péronne, Albert)
- 1er juillet : don de la sculpture de Véronique Barruet à la famille royale britannique
- 2er juillet : arrivée du char à l’Historial de Péronne pour exposition permanente
- Novembre 2016 : don des clichés à des musées français et étrangers de la Grande Guerre

- December 18th: official opening on the future site of the project, with officials and press.
- January - May: creation of the trench network
- Ferbuary-March: Reconstruction of Mark I Tank
- April : planting of 419,654 poppy seeds corresponding to the losses of the British Army.
- June, 3rd: Arrival of the Mark I on the battleground
- June, 5th: main day of the project, with photos.
- June, entire month: public opening of the site.
- June, 30: installation of the tank in Thiepval
- July 1st: Presentation of the Mark I to Her Majesty Elizabeth II.
- July 1st: Presentation of pics to the members of Commonwealth delegation.
- July 1st: Exhibition of 3 giant zinc poppies produced by Pascal Nottin (Thiepval, Péronne, Albert)
- July 1st: donation of the sculpture by Veronique Barruet to the British Royal Family.
- July 2: Arrival of Mk I Tank at the Historial of Peronne, permanent exhibition.
- November 2016: Donate snapshots of French and foreign museums of the Great War.
